POINT OF VIEW

More money, more happiness, this is what most of us say, or perhaps we hear ‘more work, more success.’ These phrases are often repeated in our ears, they end with (( I am tired, I wish to return to being a child )) I was happy in my childhood, and you too, weren’t you?

I might formally agree with you on what these phrases say, but have you asked yourself why you are tired and want to return to being a child, and the most important question is why is a child happier than an adult?

The happiness of a child comes from their ability to love everything and anything. Children find joy in exploring the world using all of their senses, are eager to try new things, and are fascinated by different shapes and colors. They do not limit their desires to specific standards, nor do they follow a single path.

However, as we grow into adulthood, we tend to establish rigid goals that distance us from the joy of exploration that exists within our inner child. Routines can lead to feelings of depression and frustration, and our willingness to embrace life and connect with others becomes constrained by the conditions we impose on ourselves.

Some have confined all their happiness to acquiring money, while others have committed to hard work most of the time and discipline with a specific daily schedule. The woman dedicates herself only to household chores and does not prioritize her social or even romantic relationships. The man, all the time, seeks professional success to prove his existence, there is no time for anything else because happiness has become, in everyone’s view, a one-way direction.

The question here is: Why not give the child inside us a chance to return and try everything anew? Please, do this (try everything at least once) and you will see how the smile returns to shine on your faces and in your lives once again.
