About myself

I am very old in the world of writing, once I wrote for a prestigious magazine published in Paris when I was a primary school student. The magazine published my text and sent a formal letter that began with the phrase ‘Dear Mr. Otba.’ My father received it at the time and burst out laughing as he looked at me, I had not yet turned ten years old. He said: ‘You are truly a respectable gentleman and a grown man, but still in primary school.

Over time and with experience, I have developed some Ways to Self-Educate that some people find strange. For example, when I read any novel, I start from the last pages to check the ending. This seems like a strange approach, doesn’t it?

It doesn’t matter to me what happened in the story, but what matters is how it happened. At this point, I find great pleasure in how the author uses his skills to deceive the reader and plants many ideas in their mind to surprise them with an ending they never expected.

Writing is like life, it takes you into distant orbits, but it knows how to draw you the path to the ending it chooses. Who among us does not love to see the final results immediately, and thus master the style?
