In a dictatorial country and in one of the neglected neighborhoods of the city, a mountain of accumulated garbage was erected that was causing the city’s residents to suffer from various diseases. After not a short number of years, some young people from the neighborhood decided to rid their city’s inhabitants of this dirty mountain. As they began cleaning and removing the garbage mountain, the stench of decay spread, and rats and insects that had been living in this garbage mountain proliferated.
And so, a significant number of city residents emerged protesting the cleaning operations, saying: “We were fine before you brought your ideas and these unnecessary cleaning projects! You’ve turned our lives upside down.” The situation escalated between these residents and the young people who wanted to remove the mountain, leading to a physical confrontation and halting the cleaning operations. Garbage and diseases spread further, and the people of the city kept repeating one phrase: “We were fine before they touched the garbage mountain.”
